FTO Hosmer & Officer Manning located the subject in the 1100 block of Acacia, who was found to have outstanding felony warrants and arrested without incident. The argument escalated to the point that the suspect grabbed a knife, slashed the victims vehicle tires, then hit him in the face with the blunt end. Officer attempted to stop the duo for traffic violations, and both fled. The male passenger had heroin in his possession and female tried to state that all the needles were hers, including the heroin in her passengers pocket. The van returned stolen out of Yuba City. 19-329710 / 981 / 1000 Garden Hwy / 1B / 1110 Hrs. Officers located 8 bullet holes to the drivers side of her vehicle but the victim was never struck. As officers were removing him from the vehicle a handgun was observed in his waistband. He was detained and taken into custody for his warrant. Once officers arrived, they found a total of 8 vehicles that had been broken into. While en route, patrol found the vehicle parked on West El Camino, just West of Truxel unoccupied. During the contact Officer suspected the vehicle was stolen but the car came back clear. The homeowner and his guest were asleep in the master bedroom of the second floor when the heard glass breaking and a voice yell SAC PD. The unknown suspect(s) advanced to the 2nd floor master bedroom, kicked/forced the door, and were startled by the residents. The video shows that the suspect vehicle is a white colored SUV. Officers conducted a surround and call out with negative results. The victims were able to get away from the suspects. He was booked for 10851 VC. The victim said that his truck was broke into 1-2-20 and a backpack with the keys to his Toyota were inside. AIR 1 and STAR were both up. Comp called in after locating a 4 yr old male boy walking across the major street without shoes and no visible adults/parents around the child. The van fled after that. CHP later advised the suspect was still traveling at a high rate of speed on I-80 past Reed Ave. A short time later Sgt. 20-120357- Foot Pursuit/ Gun- 2400 block Empress st- 2C- 1938hrs. Taken were credit cards and an I-phone. He was taken into custody without incident and booked on felony evading charges. He was transported to the SCMJ where he was booked for 245(a)1 PC, 273.5 Pc, and 236 PC.
