Washtenaw County Trial Court PO Box 8645 Ann Arbor, MI 48107 Motion Hearings Effective January 3, 2023, Judge Conlin's hearings and Judge Slay's criminal hearings will be conducted in person. Rumors had swirled around the 53rd District Court judge for years. The cases against Gorman and Watkins have been connected since their arrests in October 2020, when the Michigan State Police and FBI executed separate arrest warrants for Gorman and Watkins. Conlin was not going to seek reelection prior to the diagnosis because of Michigans 70-year age limit for judges.
